Born a Floridian, born a Gator by divine intervention I bleed orange and blue for my Gator Nation.  Go Gators!  I am a die hard Gator fan and a proud graduate of the University of Florida, the foundation of the Gator Nation.  I am proud of all our athletic championships and our academic achievements.  It’s great to be a Florida Gator!

I am a Progressive Democrat but I believe that Congress needs to pass President Obama’s healthcare plan now!  Congress also needs to pass strong financial reform with a very strong financial consumer protection agency to reign in the wild, reckless behavior of Wall Street/banks, so we, the people, don’t have to ever bail their behinds out again with our hard earned tax dollars.  Yes, we need to address the 800 pound gorilla aka Entitlements because they are the biggest drag on the National deficit.  Do I have the answer?  No, but I’m not in Congress.  Congress is the body that should have the intelligence to do this or the intelligence to get economists to lend their expertise to solve this gigantic problem.  It’s time for Congress to put aside partisan politics and solve the American people’s problems.  That’s why we sent them there.
